I made the background very simple on this one, with a lively shadow on the sultry red wall, making the bright details on her body really pop. I especially love the red on the heels of her feet...it's hard to capture with my camera just how glow-y she really looks in-person.

I do not use setting spray or other sealants on my oil pastel work. The intensity of color and other details tend to muddy with the application of such things.

*However, in purchasing such an oil pastel work, you are receiving something with a medium that is still soft and smearable. I will do my very best to carefully ship it in a plastic sleeve and I will urge you as its new caretaker to only frame it with a mat around it, as this will ensure a gap between the artwork and the glass.

With careful handling, this artwork should last well beyond your lifetime. Understand that there may be variances in color and texture from the photo at hand and that it is very difficult to perfectly capture. I hope you enjoy this little piece of me.
