This woman holds her face in her hands in a playful reference to "The Scream," except that her screaming is more internal. The background is abstract and fiery, emphasizing passion under the surface. She's tired of the BS, but she's "Hot To Go," so-to-speak.

I do not use setting spray or other sealants on my oil pastel work. The intensity of color and other details tend to muddy with the application of such things.

*However, in purchasing such an oil pastel work, you are receiving something with a medium that is still soft and smearable. I will do my very best to carefully ship it in a plastic sleeve and I will urge you as its new caretaker to only frame it with a mat around it, as this will ensure a gap between the artwork and the glass.

With careful handling, this artwork should last well beyond your lifetime. Understand that there may be variances in color and texture from the photo at hand and that it is very difficult to perfectly capture. I hope you enjoy this little piece of me.
